In the south of Fuerteventura, in front of the Punta de Jandía lighthouse , there is a wild and spectacular area known as Veril Grande .
This is the most beautiful and ideal dive site for divers of all levels, with tidal precautions.
The clarity of the water and the white sand makes this corner of the sea very bright and this allows you to appreciate numerous marine species .
At a depth of 20 meters lies the upper part of a wall that drops vertically to 40 meters and hides moray eels, white sea breams, manta rays, angel sharks and many others.
Just before reaching the sea wall you will also encounter garden eels and it is also possible to spot large pelagic fish such as the whale shark or the sea devil .
Snorkeling in El Jablito
Located in the north-east of Fuerteventura, very close to Parque Holandes , El Jablito beachis an ideal diving spot for beginners.
As well as for experienced divers looking for a quiet and relaxed dive.
With a maximum depth of 15 meters, Playa El Jablito still allows you to see numerous marine species such as:
- White bream, parrotfish, barracuda, spider crabs, damselfish, angel sharks and more
This diving and snorkeling area remains protected from currents due to its unique conformation, thus guaranteeing the possibility of diving all year round.
The seabed here also mixes sandy areas and rocks and, thanks to its shallowness, allows entry directly from the beach.
