El Bajo Negro beach is located at the end of the Corralejo Dunes , very long and not very sheltered from the wind.
Unlike other beaches in the surrounding area, El Bajo Negro is a very large beach and has very fine white sand.
Low tide changes the colors of the ocean, creating a mosaic of colors ranging from blue to turquoise.
The beach is easily reached by bus line 6 and is approximately 7 km from Corralejo.
This beach of Fuerteventura is a very convenient solution for those who want to give up the car and enjoy the whole day in this little paradise.
Nestled between the dunes of the Corralejo Natural Park , Playa El Bajo Negro is perfect for spending pleasant days and enjoying the benefits of Fuerteventura’s nature .

Like all the beaches in the north of Fuerteventura, this playa also has that heavenly charm that makes it unique for an unforgettable holiday on the magical island of the Canaries.
Features of Playa El Bajo Negro
Although most of the beaches on the island are wild and have no beach services, El Bajo Negro beach is one of the equipped beaches of Fuerteventura.
On this beach you can rent sunbeds and umbrellas at a modest price and enjoy that sense of peace and relaxation that only Fuerteventura can offer.
However, every tourist can use a beach bar, for a snack or a drink, although a kiosk on the beach in Fuerteventura is a rare thing.
Unfortunately, Playa El Bajo Negro does not have the classic stone shelters for the wind and is not one of the least windy beaches in Fuerteventura.
It would be inadvisable to reach it when the trade winds are strongest and leave the field open to surfers and water sports lovers in Fuerteventura .
In the less windy months , those of the Canarian summer, Playa Baja Negro has nothing to envy of the paradisiacal destinations around the world.
The ocean on this stretch of coast is a true spectacle of nature, which will leave you breathless and with the desire to return as soon as possible.
At any time of the year it is possible to organize the most beautiful excursions on board camels, or rent a quad and cross the wonderful dunes.
We recommend a half-day stop to use the other half of the day to visit other beaches in the area, such as Grandes Playas, or if you prefer the enchanting El Cotillo .
