Matorral beach, also known as Morro Jable beach , is a white sandy beach and is located in the southern part of the island of Fuerteventura at Natural Park of Jandia.

Without making comparisons, between those who prefer the northern part of the island and those who prefer the southern part, this beach is definitely one of the destinations not to be missed when planning a trip to Fuerteventura.

To reach Matorral beach we recommend using the car rather than public transport, to have maximum freedom in moving around.

Especially if you are in other locations on the island, such as Puerto del Rosario , Corralejo and Caleta de Fuste.

Playa del Mattoral, unlike other beaches, has the possibility of using many services, such as sunbeds and umbrellas at a cost of 12 euros.

In addition to toilets, first aid, showers and many bars for a quick meal, without losing sight of the turquoise beach.

On some of  beaches of southern Fuerteventura, when you need to use the classic sunbeds and umbrella, you will find a sign that will indicate the correct price for this service.

Matorral beach is classified as a protected natural area

Matorral beach is located in a protected natural area, Jandia Natural Park, always offering unique views.

The sea at Playa del Matorral has nothing to envy of the other Canary Islands , as it has a sea with Caribbean colours.

Ideal for all ages, for long walks and the convenience of walking to the centre of Morro Jable, which comes alive in the evening with bars and restaurants on the seafront.

As in the whole stretch of Costa Calma , this beach is frequented from persons who prefers the wild nature of Fuerteventura and breathtaking landscapes.

Playa del Matorral is also highly sought after, as in the immediate vicinity, there is an efficient coworking , a highly sought-after destination for all digital nomads.

An unmissable stop would be the beautiful Playa de Mal Nombre, a true spectacle of nature and the Playa de Butihondo.
