Esmeralda beach at Costa Calma

Esmeralda beach is a beautiful beach located in Costa Calma, south of the island of Fuerteventura.

This beach is located next to the H10 Playa Esmeralda hotel , from which it takes its name, a hotel intended for adults only.

To reach Playa Esmeralda , you need to take a dirt road (nothing to worry about) that is not demanding.

And then find a parking lot near the beach, as there is no real parking area.

As with all the beaches on the island, the sea water here is around 22°, but during peak hours, you won’t be able to resist taking a dip in this cove with its breathtaking colours.

Apart from the guests of Hotel 10 in Playa Esmeralda , many people prefer this beach, as there are two promontories at the two ends of the island, which protect the entire sandy stretch from windy days.
